LONG STORY:

I have a toddler. She’s cute. Her name is Isla, and she was born October ‘09 so you can still use fingers and soon some toes to count how old she is. She likes to play with her dollies, books, stickers and laughing all the time. Seriously. I hope think she’s destined to be a comedian. 

She was diagnosed February 13, 2011 with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. Her condition was nearly missed and so we nearly lost her. If it seems like I gush, if it seems like I revel in the simple things, it’s because every day is our blessing, our second chance. I’m so thankful :)  

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t exhausted, but a latte and a smile can fix a lot of things! Let’s just say the juice is worth the squeeze :)
