Last night, after Isla’s midnight blood sugar checks, we were both falling back to sleep. We laid nose to nose on a pillow and I asked her where we were going.

"Tunic Sunday" | Happy 2nd Birthday, Isla!
When you ask Isla how old she is, she still says “tunic Sunday” - as in, ‘two next Sunday’. Even *on* Sunday, she was ‘two next Sunday’. The sweetest :)
